Enhanced Gear System
The system has been greatly strengthened with ball bearing support for the reduction gear to achieve amazing durability, and the synergistic effect with the GIGA MAX MOTOR provides unprecedented strength, speed, and stability in winding up. Thermo Adjust Drag is a control function designed to suppress abnormal heat generation of the drag to maintain stable drag performance. If the drag slips while the motor of the electric reel is on, the gear will idle and cause an abnormal heat generation in the drag portion of the reel. As a way to suppress excess heat, the speed of the motor is automatically reduced by the Thermo Adjust Drag when the drag begins to slip.
The e-Exciting Drag Sound is an electronic drag sound from the reel when a fish makes a run. This creates a modern solution to the mechanical clicker while adding excitement to an angler’s experience.
S A-RB bearings are put through the same process as Shimano’s A-RB bearings but feature shields on both sides of the bearings. These shields reduce the possibility of salt or sand inhibiting rotation of the bearing.
